3D/4D Ultrasound Scan @Hospital Gleneagles, Penang (21/8/09)

37 weeks preggie today. Xandria estimated weight: 2.8kg

Gynae checked dilation 2cm. Cervix has soften. If labor hasn't start in this few days, I plan to induce on 30/8/09, hope to give birth on 31/8/09. 8 days more to go...Yay!!~~

Today is the last day of 6th Lunar month in chinese calendar. Have been wishing and hoping Xandria will be delivered within 6th lunar month. Getting false alarms for the past few days. Little bit of contractions excite me. But I guess no hope to make it by today. So Xandria choose to come out same month chinese calendar with mommy - 7th lunar month.

Gives me goosebumps to even think about it. Staying in hospital in the 7th lunar month. Hungry Ghost Festival month...so eerie. How am I gonna go thru it bravely? Will have to wake up every 2hrs to breastfeed Xandria, even midnight. Hope there will be more mothers giving birth that time so it won't be that scary.

As of today, I'm 36 weeks 5 days preggie. Gotta speed things up a little bit. Will go for a walk at botanical garden this evening, if it's raining, then will go to Sri Kristal for a swim and do a light 30mins threadmill. Gotta do what I can do...waiting is so agonizing! Getting impatient by every passing seconds. Sick of counting weeks & days....God pls help me!~~~

Disappointed...again!

Yesterday evening, suddenly have a gush of yellowish liquid flow out, and I was feeling very dizzy with cold sweat...so tot it's time. Didn't really know what waterbag fluid looks like, I tot it was waterbag broken. Went in the hospital labour room, midwife checked me..said I wasn't dilated, so it was a false alarm.

I was advised to visit my gynae today. So after an ultrasound scan, confirm labour wasn't around the corner yet, coz I wasn't dilated and baby head hasn't engaged. But why do I feel that it has...feel so pressure and heavy down there!

Gynae estimated baby weight at 2.2kg. Due to my skin condition has worsen, I suspected Xandria might be a boy, maybe birdie too small, so gynae mistakenly predicted the gender??? I asked him to confirm the gender again..but he said couldn't see coz baby's leg blocking the way. He said he shouldn't be wrong when he informed me earlier that baby is a girl.

Another disappointment...he said baby is fully matured now, it's ok to give birth anytime but of coz it wasn't advisable to induce now. He will check at 38 weeks, if it's ok to induced, then he wld do so. Now I'm 36 weeks...so another 2 weeks to wait. Everytime also have to wait 2 weeks!!! It's unbearable...the sleepless nights, the heaviness of my body, the waiting....etc...etc...
